New in this update:
Crowdsourcing "Meteo reports”
The great success and usefulness of the hail observations so far has prompted MeteoSwiss to further expand the topic of "crowdsourcing", i.e. the reporting of observations by users.
Nine meteorological categories can now be reported, such as lightning, wind, rain, icy conditions, snowfall, snow cover, cloud cover, fog and even tornadoes, each with an indication of the strength or degree.
The reports are not only of interest to other users of the app, but are also used by MeteoSwiss meteorologists, especially in severe weather situations. Here, additional information is welcome in order to better assess the current situation and effects.
We hope you enjoy observing, reporting and using the new function and thank you in advance for your help!

- Expanded mountain weather forecasts: 119 new locations have been added to the mountain weather forecasts, including many mountain huts.
- Hail measurements in the animation tile
- Climate diagrams: New climate information is now available from the weather station view:
o Hourly values for the last 7 days
o Daily values for the last 12 months
o Monthly values since measurements began (where available)
The Daily and Monthly values also display their relationship to the climate normals 1981-2010.
- Many improvements in the user interface and various bug fixes.
